Join the Port Isabel Chamber of Commerce for its annual Shrimp Cook-Off & Seafood Festival in the Sutherland’s parking lot Nov. 6.

Dozens of professional and amateur chefs prepare their favorite recipes for thousands of festival attendees at a modest fee. Each contestant’s recipe will be judged on appearance, aroma and taste by a select panel of judges. Winner announcements take place at 4 p.m.

The Shrimp Cook-Off & Seafood Festival also includes live entertainment by The Agency, vendors and exciting new challenges.

Gate fee is $5 per adult, and children 12 and under are free.
