SBA Federal Contracting Series: Women-Owned Small Business Program + PTAC Services
As part of the Federal Contracting Series, the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce collaborates with the U.S. Small Business Administration for the Women-Owned Small Business Program online workshop July 7.
The federal government’s goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses each year.
At this workshop, attendees will learn about the Woman-Owned Small Business and the Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business Program. They will also receive information on the benefits of being a WOSB certified firm.
In addition, attendees will learn about WOSB’s application process and if they qualify for the programs.
If your business is owned and controlled by a woman, and you have a product or service you can sell to the federal government, and you want to take advantage of federal contracting opportunities, then this workshop is for you. This is a no-cost informational session.
