Whiskey cocktails and food tastings prepared by local restaurants are the name of the game for “Whiskey Business … An ‘Old Fashioned’ Cocktail & Food Tasting Event” on Sept. 26.

Presented by the McAllen Chamber of Commerce and Visit McAllen, the inaugural event includes a cigar lounge, live entertainment and vintage cars. The people’s choice award will go to the best whiskey cocktail and food.

Tickets are $60 pre-sale, $65 at the door.
