Alligator Sanctuary Anniversary
The South Padre Island Birding, Nature Center & Alligator Sanctuary celebrates its fourth anniversary on May 6 with fun for the young and young at heart. Gator Talks are scheduled at 11a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Come by and visit with baby gators, juvenile gators and see the King Queen Gators - Big Padre and Lady Laguna. Free admission.

Derby at the Depot – Leadership Edinburg XXXIV Fundraiser
Put on your fancy hats and get ready to race for a good cause on May 6 at Derby at the Depot, a Leadership Edinburg XXXIV fundraiser. The afternoon includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, music, drinks and games. Tickets are $75 per person or $100 per couple, and are available for purchase online.
