South Texas Health System Heart will commemorate American Heart Month with the Heroes with Heart 5K Run & Walk Feb. 27. This year, the walk will take place virtually, allowing participants to start and end anytime.
Those who register may run and/or walk at their own pace at one of the designated locations or by blazing their own trail. Participants may share thoughts, stories and run photos/videos online by using the hashtag #STHSHeroeswithHeart.
Heroes with Heart registration is $30 prior to Feb. 10 and $35 after. Registration includes a t-shirt, medal and bib. Group pricing is available by contacting race coordinator Kassandra Rodriguez at 956-388-2033 or Kassandra.Rodriguez@uhsrgv.com.
All proceeds will benefit charities as designated by the Heroes with Heart ambassadors.
