Boots to Business Reboot

The U.S. Small Business Administration hosts its Boots to Business Reboot May 10 in celebration of Military Appreciation Month. From 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., veterans may receive an overview of entrepreneurship and applicable business ownership fundamentals. Active Duty service members, as well as spouses, may also participate.

The two-step training program provides participants an overview of business ownership as a career vocation. Participants also receive an outline and knowledge on the components of a business plan and a practical exercise in opportunity recognition. An introduction to available public and private sector resources is also an offering.

Boots to Business Reboot takes place at the UTRGV Academic and Clinical Research Building, 2102 Treasure Hills Blvd., Room 1.132, Harlingen.
