The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce will once again be hosting Brownsville Day at the Capitol in Austin from Jan. 28-30. The two-day event offers an opportunity to represent Brownsville and advocate for key issues impacting the community while also engaging with Texas legislators and state officials. Topics of interest and priority include water advocacy, infrastructure development, transportation and healthcare.
Attendees of Brownsville Day at the Capitol will not only connect with elected representatives, but they will gain insights into the legislative process, network with fellow advocates, and play a direct role in shaping the community’s future.
Other highlights of the event include networking opportunities with business leaders and community advocates, and a reception with key stakeholders in Texas politics.
All attendees will receive complimentary transportation on Red Charter Buses to ensure a seamless travel experience from Brownsville to Austin. While reservations for the hotel block at the Hilton Garden Inn Austin University have closed, rooms are available as of Dec. 30 at the hotel, as well as neighboring hotels of Hampton Inn & Suites Austin @ The University/Capitol and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown Capitol.
