Windsor Reveals Newly Renovated Facility

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center ribbon-cuttingWindsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Raymondville recently unveiled to the public its newly remodeled skilled facility at 1700 South Expressway 77

The ceremony incorporated speeches from the administrator Joe Longoria, Regency Integrated Health Services Senior VP of Operations Matt Triplett, family members speaking highly of the facility and care provided to their loved ones, Mayor Gilbert Gonzales and Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Elma Chavez. After the ceremony, guests were greeted by tour guides that gave an interactive tour of the facility, presented their clinical and therapy services and concluded with charcuterie boxes and refreshments.

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center salonThe new renovation includes many upgrades to the facility. Large seating areas for friends and family fill the lobby. The facility has includes a dining area, beauty salon and a therapy gym with separate areas for physical, occupational and speech therapies. The resident rooms were also renovated and received new furnishings. New flooring is installed in the hallways along with locally sourced artwork reminiscent of downtown Raymondville and other areas of the city. 

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Raymondville was purchased by the non-profit Dwyer Workforce Development in October 2022 and is branded under Wellsential Health. Wellsential Health is the largest non-profit skilled nursing facility family in Texas. The non-profit mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals who lack opportunity and aspire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry, alleviate a severe healthcare workforce shortage and improve the lives of seniors.
