The McAllen Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the City of McAllen and Visit McAllen, is currently hosting the McAllen Shop Hop, a celebration of the city’s vibrant and diverse shopping scene. With this initiative, shoppers can discover featured stores and participate in a scavenger hunt with the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree.

The tour officially kicked off on in April and runs through Father’s Day in June, bringing together local store owners, and connecting residents and visitors with local retailers and businesses.

Shoppers can explore new stores, receive offers, discounts and free items. Via Visit McAllen’s social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook, shoppers can discover featured stores and participate in the scavenger hunt.

Participating businesses include Sylvia’s, Cubbie’s, Maripoza Boutique, M Krowns, McAllen Sports, Edible Arrangements, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Bonita Flowers, La Floreria Amistad, Ambiance Flowers & Rentals, Galeria de Perfumes, and more.

The McAllen Shop Hop is the latest in a series of seasonal campaigns by the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, designed to support local businesses and showcase the city’s unique retail scene. Following the success of the McAllen Foodie Tour that took place in March, this spring initiative invites shoppers to explore Chamber-affiliated boutiques and shops in a fun, engaging way. Through initiatives like these, the McAllen Chamber continues its mission to champion local commerce, drive economic growth and position McAllen as a premier shopping destination in South Texas.
