Plans are currently underway by the IMAS Guild for this year’s International Museum of Art and Science Christmas Tree Forest. Those organizations wishing to participate should sign up early for the exhibit of 25 Christmas trees.
This year’s theme is “Christmas in the Rio Grande Valley.”
Inspiration for trees can come from many aspects of Valley life from ranching and sports to history and birding. New this year are the age categories, limiting them to grades two through 12, and adult organizations.
Deadline to enter is Nov. 13. Set-up dates are Nov. 30 to Dec. 3. The trees will be judged on Dec. 4 with an awards reception following on Dec. 12. Entry forms and more information are available online.
