TSC Dual Enrollment Introduces Technical Pathways

TSC HVAC students have the opportunity of learning the skills of their trade by training with industry-standard equipment and tools.

The Dual Enrollment program at Texas Southmost College is introducing three new pathways this spring to the thousands of high school students TSC serves who are working to earn college credits before receiving a high school diploma.  Computer-Aided Drafting Technology, and Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology make up two of the newest offerings. Local Colleges and ISDs Earn JET Grants

The Texas Workforce Commission has awarded 23 grants totaling $4,998,598 to public junior colleges, public technical institutes, public state colleges and independent school districts for programs that focus on supporting high-demand occupations through the Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grant program.
