Pedraza, an accounting manager with VTX1, heard the Family Crisis Center in Raymondville had suffered a devastating burglary. The City of Mission is celebrating its entrepreneurs in the food industry with its first-ever Foodpreneur Fest on Oct. 24. It plans to use the event as a fundraiser for the city’s food pantry. A Texas Workforce Commission grant will allow Texas State Technical College and Mueller Co. to advance the technical skills of more than 80 Mueller Co. employees.
