IMAS to Reopen With Capacity Limits

IMASThe International Museum of Art & Science is planning to reopen to the public on June 11. An IMAS member preview will take place June 9 from 3-7 p.m.

When the museum opens, there will be a capacity limit of 25 percent, following the recommendations of the Texas Department of State Health Service and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Most of the interactive areas will not be accessible or have been modified for the safety of visitors and staff. Areas of closure include high-touch spaces including Seed to Table, Water Journey, DigiWall the Ann Moore Art Studio, and ViewSpace.

Face masks are a requirement upon entering the museum. The IMAS reserves the right to deny access without refund or rescheduling to anyone not following instructions.

Those visiting the museum pay purchase a timed ticket online, reserving a time for their visit. Tickets will also be available at the door.
