DHR Health will host its free 16th annual Community Health Fair on Feb. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance (118 Paseo del Prado). The morning includes free health screenings, health education talks led by medical experts, and a variety of booths offering health resources from DHR Health and community partners.
By bringing together healthcare professionals and local organizations, the event helps connect individuals and families with resources they may not otherwise seek out. Through screenings, educational sessions and conversations with healthcare providers, attendees can gain a clearer understanding of their health and learn about services available in the community.
“This event has always been about showing up for our community,” said Marissa Castañeda, senior executive vice president at DHR Health. “By offering free screenings and health information, we’re able to connect people with care and resources they can rely on.”
The Community Health Fair is one of several initiatives aimed at making healthcare information and services more accessible to the community.
