The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new Leadership Edinburg Class XXXIV on Sept. 8 with a welcome luncheon sponsored by Lifestar EMS and Kids Kollege Learning Center.
During the luncheon Mayor Ramiro Garza Jr., board members of the Edinburg Chamber and City Council Members addressed the class and stressed the importance of leadership development and volunteerism.
Councilmen Jason De Leon also shared his experience in completing the Leadership Edinburg program and how it impacted his choice to serve as an elected official.
