VIDA AT&T GrantValley Initiative for Development and Advancement is the recent recipient of a $10,000 grant from AT&T, an award reflecting AT&T’s commitment to advancing education, strengthening communities and improving lives.

This grant recognizes the importance of investing in students today – at home, in the classroom, at work – to narrow the digital divide by providing today’s learners with equitable opportunity to learn and thrive. Through this grant project, VIDA will continue to promote digital literacy for education and workforce success in a world with ever-changing technology

“We are immensely grateful to AT&T, for selecting VIDA as a recipient of this $10,000 grant. It is our continued priority to support our low-income residents in achieving digital skills to enhance their employment opportunities and long-term success in the workforce,” said Felida Villarreal, VIDA’s president and CEO. “This grant will allow VIDA to continue providing the essential wraparound support services to narrow our regional digital divide and ensure our students have an equitable opportunity to pursue higher learning. Thank you, AT&T, for recognizing the importance of expanding connectivity and technological resources to promote economic development of our region.”
