Lunch & Learn – Business 201
Chase Bank and the Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce present a Lunch & Learn workshop Aug. 18, "Business 201." Lunch choices include a tropical chicken salad sandwich, roast beef po-boy or strawberry grapefruit salad. This workshop is part of a series of eight Lunch & Learn workshops with offerings in English and Spanish. RSVP is required by contacting the chamber or registering online.
GMCC Membership Recruitment Mixer
Join the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce for a membership recruitment mixer on Aug. 18. Evening includes hors d'oeuvres and libations. The chamber encourages all members to attend, network and get to know fellow GMCC members. Night of Giving
The Weslaco Museum invites the public to a Night of Giving on Aug. 18 to focus on raising awareness for Love 146 and Polaris. The museum will also accept donations on the organizations' behalf.
Brownsville Chamber of Commerce 85th Anniversary Gala
The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 85th Anniversary with a black-tie gala at the Brownsville Events Center on Aug. 18. Since 1937, the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce has been the community's leading membership-driven advocate and champion for business. Its primary objective is to create a climate of growth and success in our community. Individual chamber member tickets are $100 each; non-member $125 each. Register online or contact the chamber.
