Keep It Ugly Charity Bowling Tournament
Join the American Advertising Federation Rio Grande Valley in striking out hunger at its Keep It Ugly Charity Bowling Tournament on Dec. 4. This benefit for the Food Bank Rio Grande Valley includes prizes for the best ugly team shirts and trophies for the best bowling teams. Non-perishable food items will also be collected for the food bank. Team registration and sponsorships are available online.
Small Business Holiday Marketplace
Celebrate the heart of Brownsville this holiday season by supporting local businesses at the sixth annual Small Business Holiday Marketplace on Dec. 4. The event is a collaborative effort from the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce and the Mexican Consulate in Brownsville. The Brownsville Events Center will become a festive hub for holiday shopping with unique gifts from small businesses in the community.
