Region 6 Small Business Advocate Rhett Davis of the SBA’s Office of Advocacy host two local small business regulatory forums March 28. The forums are held in an effort to further the goals of presidential executive orders on regulatory reform.

The goal of the visit is to hear directly from small business owners about federal regulations that concern them. This is an opportunity for small businesses to educate the Office of Advocacy through first-hand accounts of how federal regulations impact them.

Information from the forum will inform agencies, Congress and the public on what specific regulations can face modification or removal to help small businesses.

Sessions are as follows:

  • March 28, 9:30-10:30 a.m. – Port of Brownsville, Conference Room A, 1000 Foust Road, Brownsville. RSVP online.
  • March 28, 1:30-2:30 p.m. – Rio Grande Valley Partnership, 322 S. Missouri Ave., Weslaco. RSVP online.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Angela R. Burton at 956-427-8533, x231 or angela.burton@sba.gov.
