Ranchers to Gather in Rio Grande City

TSCRA ranch gatheringThe Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association will host a ranch gathering Aug. 27 at the Triple G Livestock Auction in Rio Grande City. The event will provide an opportunity for local cattle producers to learn about TSCRA’s recent activities. TSCRA will also discuss issues facing cattle raisers while attendees can connect with other cattle producers in the area.

TSCRA Special Ranger Joe Aguilar will also provide an update on recent law enforcement activities in the area. Additionally, he will discuss strategies to keep livestock and equipment safe and secure. Attendees will also receive updates on other topics of interest to cattle raisers and the community. This includes a briefing on recent governmental activities that impact Texas ranchers and landowners.

The event is open to the public and is also free of charge.

Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a complimentary beef dinner. The Triple G Livestock Auction is at 12 Livestock Road, Rio Grande City, TX 78582.
