New Shopping Center Coming to Sharyland

Shary Town Plaza Building BDomain Development has announced its latest venture in Sharyland, Shary Town Plaza. The shopping center spans over 24,000 square feet, housed within two buildings.

Situated across the street from La Fogata and the Mission Event Center, Domain Development considers this high-traffic area “the perfect place” to plant its next commercial development. This specific location is shadow-anchored by various high-traffic retailers such as HEB, Ross, Target, Home Depot and other highly traveled businesses.

“With the overwhelming success of our recent Mirabelle Development (which consisted of 100 residential lots and a shopping center, Mirabelle Plaza), we still had a very strong demand for leasable commercial space, so we knew it was time to deliver more,” said Shavi Mahtani, Domain Development president.

Leases in Shary Town Plaza are already taking effect with large chains such as Dunkin’ Donuts.

Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce President Brenda Enriquez echoed the community’s excitement.

“The new Shary Town Plaza definitely adds to the overall quality of life in Mission and the surrounding cities,” said Enriquez. “Options and convenience are two components that contribute to one’s life experience. Established brands will lead people here. This is an opportunity for businesses to set roots in a growing commerce community.”

Domain Development anticipates welcoming the public to this new shopping center by the second quarter of 2024.
