AeromarStarting June 10, Aeromar will add nonstop service from McAllen International Airport to both Guadalajara International and Puerto Vallarta International airports. The routes will fly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

“These new routes expand our connectivity from McAllen to four important destinations in Mexico: Mexico City, Monterrey, and now Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta,” said Danilo Correa, Aeromar CEO. “Our strong alliance with the City of McAllen positions us to boldly seek new opportunities for connectivity from the Rio Grande Valley.”

Guadalajara is the second-largest city in Mexico, with a population of nearly five million people and a busy metropolis. The picturesque city is also one of Mexico’s premier beach destinations.

“McAllen continues to seek opportunities for business and leisure connectivity with Mexico,” said McAllen Mayor James E. Darling. “Aeromar has been a key partner, and we are grateful for the trust the airline has bestowed upon McAllen as it grows air service from the Rio Grande Valley.”

Introductory fares start at $99 for flights from MFE to GDL and $109 from MFE to PVR. The route from MFE to PVR will also stop in GDL for passenger customs screening.

“After the unprecedented times we faced last year, we are ready to travel this summer,” said McAllen City Manager, Roel “Roy” Rodriguez. “These new routes allow us to reconnect with historic and cultural adventures that only Mexico offers as well as with Mexico’s famous breathtaking beaches.”
