McAllen International Airport is now offering Tap N’ Fly ticketless parking, a third TSA screening lane and the new MFE VIP Lounge. MFE is now the first commercial airport south of San Antonio to offer both a ticketless parking system and three TSA security screening lanes, reducing wait times and improving the security process for all passengers.
“Investments in our infrastructure moves our city forward, which positions McAllen as a modern hub for commerce, tourism and connectivity of South Texas to the rest of the world,” said City of McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos.
Tap N’ Fly is the region’s first ticketless airport parking system and streamlines the parking experience to save time and effort. Travelers park, scan a QR code, register their vehicle and head to the terminal. Customer Service Ambassadors are available 24/7 to assist travelers.
“Being the first commercial airport south of San Antonio to offer ticketless parking and three TSA lanes reflects McAllen’s leadership in regional innovation,” said McAllen City Manager Isaac J. Tawil. “Investments like these reinforce our position as a regional economic leader by elevating the overall travel experience for our community and visitors alike.”
Additional enhancements include the all-new MFE VIP Lounge, which offers a quiet, comfortable space with complimentary food and beverages, and a refreshed full-service bar and café featuring modern design and local flavors.
