STC Receives GED and Workforce Training Grants

South Texas College is one step closer to its goal of tapping into private foundations to support 1,000 at-risk individuals in need of GED and workforce training opportunities. The Valley Initiative for Development and Advancement is the recipient of a $75,000 grant from the Meadows Foundation. The funds will train low-income women in high-demand jobs. Algur H.
