As Women’s History Month gets ready to wind down, the City of McAllen hosts one more event, a speed mentoring session, to continue promoting its celebration theme, “Empowered Women Empower Women.” The event supports the professional development of female employees in the organization. The morning provides a platform for mentees to ask questions from female employees. Questions can range from practical advice to specific questions about careers and leadership in local government.
