Beginning Dec. 12, residents can experience Edinburg Municipal Park as a drive-thru wonderland. Thousands of twinkling lights will be on display at Holiday in the Park from 6-10 p.m. nightly through Jan. 2.
The festive event is free to the public and includes approximately one mile of themed entertainment. The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, City of Edinburg and Edinburg EDC organized this year’s event.
“Seeing our community leaders come together to bring this event to our community is amazing,” said Ronnie Larralde, executive director of the Edinburg Chamber. “We see the importance of bringing family activities to our community during these stressful times.”
Sponsors of Holiday in the Park play a key role in presenting the festive drive-through light show experience. This year’s sponsors include Bert Ogden Auto Group, DHR Health, Melden & Hunt Inc., Texas National Bank, and The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
