Jan. 20-22 marks the first of two upcoming weekends for the 26th annual SPI Market Days at the South Padre Island Convention Center. The indoor shopping event features a large collection of artisans in one shopping location.

Vendors are both local and from across the United States. Items include original art, handmade jewelry, gourmet food and drink mixes, health and beauty products, pet items, home decor and goods, custom hand-cut metal art, textiles, tools, wine products, hand-made toys, handbags, fashionable clothing, shoes and hats, and local restaurant and businesses offering their goods and services.

SPI Market Days also includes hourly door prizes as well as live music by Austen Brooks.

The second weekend of SPI Market Days is Feb. 24-26, also at the South Padre Island Convention Center. Event hours for both weekends are Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The convention center is located at 7355 Padre Blvd.

Admission is $1, and children ages 12 and under are free.
