The International Museum of Art & Science is participating in the McAllen ISD’s Summer Feeding Program.

McAllen ISD’s annual Summer Feeding Program serves free, nutritious meals at participating feeding sites to children 18 years of age and under this summer. Children do not have to be a McAllen ISD student to participate in the program. Meals will be provided at several sites across McAllen, many of them twice per day, at a mixture of school and community sites.

The Summer Feeding Program is available Monday through Thursday at IMAS until Aug. 3. Distribution is closed only for two federal holidays, June 19 and July 4. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by snacks from 2-2:30 p.m.

Children will be required to dine in and meals must be consumed on site. No documents or proof of income are required. Children can enjoy a hot meal at any of the locations throughout the City of McAllen, including schools, City of McAllen facilities, splash pads, parks, or places of worship.

For additional information, call the McAllen ISD Child Nutrition Program at 956-632-3226. Times and locations may change.
