The SPI Kite Fest is back for 2022 at the SPI Convention Center Feb. 3-5 for indoor kite performances and the outdoor festival. The weekend also includes On the Flats and a banquet at the Isla Grand Beach Resort.

The Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce's hit event Women Empowering Women returns this year on Feb. 3 with Dr. Linda Burke. Women Empowering Women is a monthly series which invites an empowered woman from the Harlingen community as a keynote speaker.
