The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce and its ambassadors chose H-E-B on W. Freddy Gonzalez Drive for its Chamber Raid for the month of August. The benefactor of the raid was the United Way with contributions going to its school supply drive. The ambassadors bought in close to $200 in school supplies. The eighth annual “Fill the Bus” is going on today, Aug. 8, at the Shary H-E-B until 6:30 p.m. The one-day event accepts donations of school supplies and backpacks, with those making donations of a value of $25 receiving a free Schlitterbahn ticket.
